We are seeking a skilled Assistant Property Manager to support day-to-day operations for residential properties.
This role will serve as the primary point of contact for residents, assisting the Property Manager in delivering a seamless tenant experience and ensuring property standards are maintained.A key focus of this role is maintenance coordination, including handling requests, troubleshooting issues, and working with vendors.The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, bilingual (Spanish / English preferred), and experienced in property management support and tenant relations.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for tenants, owners, and vendors , ensuring excellent customer service.Receive, dispatch, and manage maintenance requests from start to completion.Troubleshoot maintenance issues by guiding residents through solutions.Coordinate with vendors : scheduling, following up, and ensuring timely completion of work orders.Maintain and grow the vendor network through sourcing and relationship-building.Support property turnovers, leasing, and move-in / move-out processes.Draft lease agreements and renewals; communicate updates to bookkeepers.Review inspection videos and flag potential health and safety concerns.Follow up on delinquent balances and assist with rent collection tracking.Review invoices, compare against requested work, and resolve discrepancies.Schedule and track semi-annual property inspections.Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Property Manager.Answer tenant calls and provide timely assistance on behalf of the Property Manager.RequirementsMinimum 2 years of property management experience , preferably in US-based companies.Excellent English communication skills ; bilingual (Spanish / English) is preferred.Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.Experience with property management software (Rentvine, LeadSimple, AppFolio) preferred; must be a fast learner .
