Overview
Senior Technical Product Manager, Product Catalog role at Levi Strauss & Co. The position focuses on driving the strategic vision and roadmap for the Product Catalog as a globally scalable platform, delivering a consumer-focused value proposition and aligning with business, customer, and technical needs.
Responsibilities
- Drive the strategic vision and roadmap for Product Catalog as a globally scalable platform, building alignment across a wide group of stakeholders.
- Build relationships with external partners and vendors, including managing the selection of solutions via the RFP process.
- Define and own the strategic roadmap for product catalog and syndication capabilities aligned with business goals and technical requirements.
- Lead discovery, requirements gathering, and prioritization for enhancements to the product catalog platform across the lifecycle from onboarding to distribution.
Partner with Business stakeholders, Product and Engineering teams to translate the vision into a well-sequenced, global roadmap and drive execution across internal and external catalog touchpoints :
Balance foundational needs and specific use cases.Identify opportunities, justify ROI, and prioritize initiatives to deliver on the vision and strategy.Ensure the roadmap includes technical health, scalability, and integrates dependencies across functions.Technical Execution & Delivery
Collaborate with engineering to design, implement, and optimize catalog management and syndication capabilities.Stay informed on industry trends in product data management, syndication standards (e.g., GDSN, APIs), and digital shelf best practices.Ensure the catalog platform provides accurate, enriched product data to support omnichannel experiences and syndication to partners and marketplaces.Define KPIs and success metrics to measure health and business value.Build high-trust relationships to drive results :
Elicit business needs and align solutions with other roadmaps.Provide strategic advice on business challenges.Coordinate with Digital product creation, Merchandising, and Operations to achieve projected value.Represent the team in executive reviews to align resources and prioritization for value delivery.Establish a consistent prioritization process for the Product Catalog roadmap, objectives, and decisions :
Ground the vision in data and forecast impact.Articulate commercial impact with a data-driven narrative.Track value delivered, platform adoption, and adjust next steps as needed.Drive adherence to standard TPM ways of working :
Lead the end-to-end platform lifecycle.Benchmark capabilities against industry trends and best practices.Translate technical strategy into detailed requirements with engineering and architecture teams.Define OKRs and prioritize activities based on impact.Act as a change agent to embrace new methodologies for better outcomes.About You
Seasoned technical product manager with 7+ years in product data, catalog, or PIM systems, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or CPG.Experience with commercial PIM / catalog platforms (e.g., Salsify, Syndigo, Informatica, Stibo) and custom solutions.Strong understanding of product data models, taxonomy, digital asset management, and syndication mechanisms.Experience managing platforms used by internal users and external partners.Ability to navigate business and technical topics, aligning strategy and value across streams.Demonstrated ability to discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, and evaluate new ideas with partners.Strong analytical and quantitative skills; able to back up recommendations with data.Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects.Strong presentation and communication skills for audiences from product teams to executives.Location
