YOUR ROLE
Download BOM’s from corporate systems followed by detailed analysis and weight tracking.
- Set-up meetings with design teams to review their parts and weights. Confirm content and status.
- Work with Weight Team Leads to provide regular weight status updates to the extended team.
- Support Weight Leads to develop and track weight reduction opportunities list.
- Coordinate component weighing at suppliers & assembly plants.
- Assist with the validation of prototype vehicle weights comparing them to virtual BOM roll-ups.
YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.2+ years of relevant automotive product development experience.Knowledge of the overall program development life cycle.Strong proficiency in Microsoft computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).Experience analyzing data and formulating meaningful conclusions and recommendations.Proficient at conducting data analysis and formulating observations.Prior experience with mass properties or development of weight estimates in the automotive or aerospace field.Strong communicator both (verbal & written).Self-motivated, works with limited supervision, able to multi-task and prioritize workload.Advanced level of English, spoken and writing.WHAT YOU’LL LOVE ABOUT WORKING HERE?
