Overview

Workforce Strategy & Insights Data Analyst at HSBC. The role is part of the Global Service Center (GSC) HSBC and involves delivering analytics to support HR and organizational decision-making in a heavily matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve HR-related data cases efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely responses. (60% of the role)
• Conduct ad-hoc analytics to provide actionable insights on workforce trends, employee engagement, and other HR metrics.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using PowerBI, Excel, SQL, R, or Python to utilise data effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver tailored analytics solutions.
• Support data extraction and manipulation from cloud databases, with a preference for Oracle, Databricks, or similar platforms.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytics processes and tools.
• Work within an agile environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
