Role Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Manufacturing Manager to spearhead the digital evolution of our manufacturing operations and integrated supply chain across the region. This pivotal role will serve as the strategic bridge between Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT), driving the Industry 4.0 strategy for our five manufacturing plants and their connected logistics functions. You will partner closely with plant leadership, engineering, and logistics teams to identify opportunities for innovation, while harmonizing our digital roadmap and best practices through collaboration with our US-based counterparts. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader passionate about using technology—from IIoT and MES to WMS and data analytics—to drive operational excellence, enhance product quality, optimize material flow, and build a fully connected, end-to-end supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Regional IT / OT & Logistics Strategy : Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy for manufacturing and in-plant logistics that aligns with regional business goals and North American corporate standards. Act as the primary IT business partner for the region's five plant directors and their logistics leaders.
- Digital Transformation & Solution Delivery : Lead the identification, design, and deployment of digital solutions, including MES, IIoT, WMS, automation, and data visualization tools.
- Integrated Supply Chain Collaboration : Foster collaboration with IT, manufacturing, and supply chain teams in the US to align technology standards and co-develop scalable solutions.
- Project & Portfolio Management : Manage the full lifecycle of regional manufacturing and logistics IT projects, from concept to go-live and support, within time and budget constraints.
- Operational Excellence : Oversee stability and operation of plant-floor IT systems; drive process re-engineering and data-driven initiatives to optimize production and supply chain.
- Change Leadership : Champion adoption of new technologies; develop training and communication plans.
- Vendor & Budget Management : Manage relationships with technology vendors and oversee the regional IT manufacturing and logistics budget.
Minimum Requirements
Experience : 7+ years in IT manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field.Technical Expertise : Hands-on experience with MES, SCADA, IIoT; experience with logistics systems (WMS, Yard Management).Project Leadership : Successful leadership of complex, cross-functional technology projects in a multi-plant environment.Communication : Bilingual fluency (English / Spanish) required; excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.Travel : Availability to travel up to 30%, primarily between the five regional plants and occasional US travel.Preferred Skills And Experiences
Master’s Degree or MBA is a strong plus.Experience in home appliance, automotive, or similar discrete manufacturing.Experience implementing or supporting WMS and other supply chain execution software.Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma methodologies.Experience with ERP integration (SAP) in manufacturing and logistics.Certifications in Project Management (PMP), ITIL, or supply chain (APICS / ASCM).Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data analytics / BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).Equal Employment Opportunity
