Overview

We are looking for an energetic Network Manager to lead our Network Engineering team in supporting and maintaining network infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring the network runs smoothly, with a focus on performance, uptime, and scalability. You’ll oversee network services like routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs, while ensuring the network meets business needs and operates 24 / 7.

As Network Manager, you’ll lead daily operations, ensuring the team meets performance goals and resolving any issues that arise. You’ll also manage projects, allocate resources, and optimize the network for maximum efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the Network Engineering team, ensuring that network operations, including voice, video, data, and administration, function smoothly and meet performance targets.
  • Manage and drive network engineering projects, including defining scope, scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting.
  • Provide consistent, standards-based support to the team, ensuring day-to-day incident and problem management for network elements and components.
  • Audit newly installed equipment, ensuring all configurations, capacities, and hubs meet company standards.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks, provide resolution recommendations, and lead the implementation of solutions that meet technical, cost, and resource requirements.
  • Ensure the effective configuration and release management of network components.
  • Operate in a transparent, service-focused manner, adhering to approved service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain a high-energy approach in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring the network runs efficiently and effectively at all times.

Qualifications

  • Location : Must be based in Monterrey and required to work in the client office 3 times a week.
  • Fluency in Spanish and a high level of English required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields.
  • 6 years of relevant experience in network design, implementation, maintenance, and leadership experience in managing network engineering teams or projects.
  • Proven expertise in managing network devices and services, such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
  • Strong knowledge of network performance optimization, troubleshooting, and incident management.
  • Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a high-energy environment, maintaining a proactive and solution-focused approach to managing network operations.
