What you\'ll do

We\'re building a talent pipeline for exceptional Senior Backend Engineers who want to be part of Clara\'s mission in transforming corporate spend management across Latin America. As a Senior Backend Engineer , you\'ll help architect and scale backend services that power mission-critical features. You\'ll partner with cross-functional teams to ensure our systems are performant, maintainable, and aligned with both technical and business goals.

Typical responsibilities include :

• Designing and developing backend services using Java , Spring , and Spring Boot
• Architecting scalable systems based on microservices , distributed systems , and RESTful APIs
• Building integrations with PostgreSQL , MySQL , MongoDB , or DynamoDB
• Leveraging event-driven architectures and tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Driving DevOps best practices with Docker , Kubernetes , and CI / CD pipelines
• Operating within AWS and applying cloud-native architecture principles
• Applying TDD , BDD , and Agile methodologies to ensure high-quality releases
• Mentoring engineers and contributing to architectural strategy
