Power Plant Control System Hardware Engineer

A Snapshot of Your Day

In this role, you will function as a HW Engineer providing HW engineering design using Siemens Energy Omnivise-T3000 for Power Generation Equipment and digitalization. On a day-to-day basis, HW Engineer spends 80% of their time in the back office on project related activities while the other 20% will be spent onsite supporting installation and commissioning Control system cabinets.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Evaluation of Distributed Control System (DCS) for new and modernization installations, I / O list preparation.

Cabinet Layout and IO channel / card assignment

Basic and detailed engineering of DCS system Control cabinets.

Heat load calculation for DCS / PLC cabinets.

Interconnect Drawing between cabinets

Network design and developing the drawing

What You Bring

Bachelor of Science from an accredited university in Engineering or related field (Electrical or Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering).

7+ years’ experience in Hardware design engineering Manufacturing, testing and HW Engineering

Proficient with Siemens Energy DCS -T3000 and Siemens S7 based system.

Hands on knowledge on AutoCAD Electrical, COMOS, E-Plan.

A self-motivated teammate with strong problem-solving skills. Task oriented with excellent time management; always willing to learn.

Must be fluent in English
