Role Summary

The Calibration Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the calibration department, ensuring equipment is calibrated according to process requirements, and maintaining optimal lab operations. This role supervises calibration engineers / technicians, manages documentation, coordinates with suppliers, and ensures compliance with quality and environmental systems.

Reports to : Laboratory Manager

Backup Position : Calibration Engineer / Quality Engineer (Lab)

Location : Apodaca

Language Requirement : English – 40% desirable

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure full execution of the system gauge calibration program
• Supervise calibration activities and assign tasks to team members
• Maintain equipment in optimal condition
• Promote teamwork within and across departments
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and internal regulations
• Keep work areas clean and organized (5S)
• Support health contingency protocols inside and outside the organization
• Prepare, review, and implement documentation for quality and environmental systems
• Select and manage external calibration services and equipment purchases
• Train staff to ensure safety and operational excellence
