Our client, a luxury hotel in Hawaii, is looking for an Engineering Project Manager to lead the Engineering team to provide support across all engineering departments within the hotel.
The Engineering Project Manager supports the Director of Engineering in overseeing resort maintenance and improvement projects, ensuring all systems and structures are well-maintained, safety standards are met, and guest satisfaction is prioritized. Also manages contractors and project execution on property.
Responsibilities
- Work with managers to complete Capital Expense Approval form for the purchase of capital goods properly. Once ownership is approved, Purchase orders and final invoices are completed on time.
- Maintain status updates of all projects currently in progress.
- Coordination with interior designers, planners, architects, consultants, engineers, 3rd party reviewers for specialized applications and permitting.
- Work with contractors to ensure contracts are maintained up to date and services are in accordance with Engineering Procedures and Policy.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical Engineering or a related field.Master’s degree or specialization in Project Management is preferred.Skilled and passionate about driving a high-tech and expansive physical product forward.Extensive industry knowledge on building maintenance and energy management.Strong supervisory and leadership skills.Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.Due to visa restrictions, at the moment we are only accepting candidates from Mexico and Canada.
