Acceleration Center - AES - SAP Basis - Senior Analyst at PwC México.

Responsibilities

Configure system with Solution Manager for Early Watch services and technical monitoring.

System copy, client copy, upgrade, patching, and related activities.

Assist with troubleshooting system and application performance issues; monitor daily system health checks; coordinate system tuning and go-live support.

Apply database administration knowledge to critique database performance.

Develop technology roadmap, manage global service providers, and identify opportunities for modernization and cost-effective solutions.

Manage resolution of Help Desk tickets, application server load balancing, printer troubleshooting, and spool administration.

Plan and perform Basis disaster recovery testing and High Availability testing.

Provide leadership and technical direction to team members and consultants.

Drive utilization of Solution Manager in managing the technical landscape.

SAP Basis Administration including analysis of SAP system logs, process monitoring, ABAP dumps cleanup.

Transports & Change Control : release and transfer of transport orders, transport protocol maintenance, change requests, and related documentation.

Troubleshooting and monitoring of SAP-provided services and ensuring availability of services.

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years SAP NetWeaver application server administration in UNIX / Linux environments.

3+ years SAP Solution Manager planning, configuration, and administration for centralized monitoring, alerting, root cause analysis.

Experience building relationships between IT and business teams.

Demonstrated knowledge of best practices for SAP Basis Administration and operations.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Knowledge / Skills

Extensive knowledge of SAP applications and SAP Basis, including multiple SAP modules and environments.

Experience with RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms) design and development.

Ability to understand and articulate business requirements and propose solutions after due diligence.

Understanding of Enterprise Structures and ability to guide the team.

Delivery of issue resolutions to meet SLA / KPI targets.
