Dedicated Data Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dedicated Data Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the implementation and support of our Global Index Data Platform.

This specialist will be responsible for undertaking production support for index calculation platforms, focusing on delivery and familiarity with market data assets (Equity, Commodities, Forex, Futures, and Options).

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with database programming languages (SQL, PL / SQL, MongoDB). Proficiency in Unix Shell scripting is also essential.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of +3 years of relevant experience in technology.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage daily production support for index calculation platforms.
• Monitor daily data load jobs.
• Respond to critical production issues, providing immediate workarounds for business continuity.
• Interact with business operations for day-to-day data & technical support.
• Analyze production issues, report defects, and collaborate with application development teams for resolution.
• Escalate critical or non-resolvable issues, providing ETA to customers.
• Support code deployments and infrastructure maintenances.
• Maintain support procedures, run-books, system checkout tasks, and escalation contacts.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of +3 years of relevant experience in technology.
• Proficiency in database programming languages (SQL, PL / SQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with writing Unix Shell scripts.
• Familiarity with AWS services (ECS, EKS, S3, CloudFront) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Datadog tools is required.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server is a plus.
• Knowledge of Python is optional but beneficial.
• Strong communication skills are necessary, with excellent verbal and written proficiency in English.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools (Jenkins) is a plus.

Work Arrangement :

Hybrid (2-3 days on site), Santa Fe, CDMX.
