We are searching for a Chief UX Designer to lead the design and user experience strategy of our SaaS platform, emphasizing innovative developer tools and workflows.
This position blends strategic planning, teamwork with multidisciplinary groups, and direct execution to deliver engaging, user-centered designs for intricate technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define the scope of requirements to support the development and implementation of core SaaS features
- Collaborate with product management and UX research teams to synthesize internal research and technical insights
- Conduct gap analysis, identifying areas that require added research or stakeholder input
- Collect requirements and user insights by working closely with internal and external stakeholders through interviews and workshops
- Develop specifications for V1 product features, including Revision Control, DevPortal administration, and analytics
- Create UI / UX solutions for platform features such as billing, scalable compute APIs, authentication systems, and publishing workflows
- Deliver documentation that consolidates findings and actionable recommendations
- Define an implementation roadmap for planned features, ensuring alignment with development goals
- Oversee the production of product design artifacts, ensuring consistency across tools such as Figma, Miro, and JIRA
- Foster alignment across cross-functional teams in North America and Europe, ensuring compatibility with developer tools and workflows
- Validate designs through user research processes tailored for technical and developer audiences
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years in UX design, including experience with SaaS products and cloud solutionsAt least 2 years of leadership experience in a relevant roleExpertise in UI / UX design for technical products, leveraging tools like Figma and JIRABackground in crafting product specifications and technical documentationKnowledge of tools like Google Drive and Miro for collaborative effortsFamiliarity with developer tools, software workflows, and user research strategiesProven capability to design for complex features such as revision control, APIs, billing, and team management systemsCompetency in English at a fluent C1 levelNice to have
