Energy & Project Manager MX
Objective
Develop an energy roadmap, aligning energy production, renewable sourcing, and fuel transition with long-term sustainability goals and industry best practices.
Main Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of decarbonization strategies, supporting Net Zero targets.
Integrate emission and pollution reduction goals into plant operations, ensuring alignment with corporate sustainability and regulatory requirements.
Identify and manage energy and sustainability projects with clear milestones, timelines, and financial assessments.
Ensure legal compliance and reporting on emissions, energy use, and pollution reduction through robust data management systems.
Drive ISO 50001 implementation and maintain audit-ready data integrity.
Monitor performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to accelerate progress toward environmental targets.
Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to optimize energy efficiency, reduce costs, and replace fossil fuels.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or sustainability.
At least 5 years of experience in projects / energy management, with extensive knowledge of energy efficiency technologies, preferably in the aluminum / foundry industry, and good knowledge of energy markets and emission management.
Over 5 years of managerial experience in large-scale, multinational companies, leading cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives in complex operational environments.
Language : Advanced English proficiency required.
Superior communication and presentation skills are strongly preferred.
