We are a team of over 4,200 professionals across 13 facilities in multiple countries, dedicated to innovation, problem solving, and excellence.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and Maintain EHS Strategy : Define, implement, and sustain the EHS&S policy, objectives, and procedures in alignment with site leadership and global standards.Set and Track Objectives : Establish site EHS goals with the Site Leadership Team and Global EHS, monitor progress, and report achievements and challenges.Ensure Compliance : Guarantee adherence to corporate EHS standards, local regulations, and government requirements (e.g., STPS, SEMARNAT, PROFEPA).
Emergency Preparedness : Implement and maintain emergency response plans, conduct drills, and coordinate with internal and external emergency teams.Training & Awareness : Oversee EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and new hires to ensure knowledge and compliance.Risk Management : Identify, assess, and control physical, chemical, biological, and psychosocial risks to protect employee health and safety.Environmental Protection : Drive initiatives for environmental compliance and sustainability, including waste management and ecological footprint reduction.Audit & Continuous Improvement : Lead internal and external EHS audits, management reviews, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.Budget & Reporting : Manage the EHS budget and ensure compliance with financial and business policies.Stakeholder Communication : Maintain strong communication with site leadership, global EHS teams, and regulatory authorities.Commitment to Standards : Act in accordance with TAPI expectations and local regulations for Safety, Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Protection, and Sustainability; collaborate with site experts to propose actions, track progress, and address issues.Team Leadership : Manage and develop the EHS&S team to build a high-performing organization.QualificationsWe are looking for a highly qualified professional with a degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, and at least five years of experience in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Emergency Response, Environmental Protection, and Sustainability within chemical, API, or global pharmaceutical companies.
The ideal candidate brings proven expertise in handling high potent chemical compounds, along with a strong track record in implementing, maintaining, and improving EHS Management Systems in line with local regulations and corporate standards.
You should be comfortable tracking and analyzing performance indicators related to compliance, customer service, business sustainability, and people development.
Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to coach and develop teams to achieve high performance.
