Managing Consultant, Site Investigation and Remediation — Monterrey or Mexico City, Mexico. Applications must be submitted in English. The role sits in Ramboll's Environment and Health department as part of the Site Investigation and Remediation group, providing innovative and sustainable site solutions to an international client base.
Your new role
Ramboll is seeking a full-time Managing Consultant to join the Site Investigation and Remediation group in our Monterrey or Mexico City office. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team, handling site investigation and remediation projects and contributing to a sustainable future for clients and society.
Typical responsibilities
- Manage Phase II investigation and remediation projects.
- Direct regulatory interactions for remediation plans.
- Site decommissioning.
- Lead strategy for the path to regulatory closure.
- Report and data analysis; prepare presentations.
- Track deliverables and manage budget.
- Manage client and business development activities.
- Coach, mentor, and train junior staff.
Your profile

The ability to write and speak English fluently.At least 10 years of relevant experience, including performing Phase II site assessments in Mexico and working in an environmental consulting setting.B.S. or M.S. in geology, hydrogeology, environmental engineering, or related engineering field.Experience in environmental consulting with a track record of managing large projects with complex environmental databases.Expertise in development and delineation of contaminants in various media, evaluation of vapor intrusion conditions, and leading complex site investigations.Working knowledge of remedial technologies for VOCs, LNAPL, metals, SVOCs in soil, soil vapor, and groundwater.Track record of achieving regulatory closure of impacted sites.Excellent project management, written, and client communication / management skills.Experience with data visualization techniques.Physical requirements
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; up to 20 pounds frequently; ability to move objects; able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, sit, push / pull; may be exposed to extreme weather, hazards, and chemicals; poor ventilation in some environments.May be required to wear protective equipment including respirator or HAZMAT suit.What we can offer you
