Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications and software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of QA strategies, demonstrate independent problem-solving, and be comfortable working in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for new features and product enhancements.
• Build and expand automated test suites using tools like Selenium for web applications.
• Perform a mix of manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, and performance testing with tools such as JMeter.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product managers from concept to launch, ensuring requirements and acceptance criteria are clear and verifiable.
• Quickly gain an understanding of business and domain-specific requirements to craft test cases that ensure full coverage.
• Provide timely, actionable, and data-driven feedback on product quality, leveraging Jira to report and track issues.
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Analyze reports (e.g., load vs. sound performance) and proactively identify potential issues without prompting.
• Demonstrate understanding of QA strategy and its impact on organizational success.
• Identify common QA pitfalls (e.g., undetected bugs) and propose thoughtful solutions.
• Write scripts, develop test cases, and work independently to ensure robust testing coverage.
