Sr Fixed Asset Accountant

Descripción del trabajoBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred). 10+ years of progressive experience in Accounting, with at least 6+ years specialized in Fixed Assets and CAPEX. Proven experience in team leadership or supervisory roles within accounting. Advanced English (written and spoken). Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar). Strong problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and ownership of responsibilities. Ability to work cross-functionally with both finance teams and non-finance stakeholders.
We are looking for a Senior Fixed Assets Accountant to join our team! This role is key to ensure proper accounting, control, and reporting of capital expenditures and fixed assets across multiple communities.
What you’ll do :
- Manage the full fixed asset lifecycle : acquisitions, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, retirements, and disposals.
- Oversee and control CAPEX budgets, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
- Perform monthly closings, reconciliations, and reporting of the fixed asset module.
- Partner with communities to ensure accuracy in accounting for capital expenses.
- Support audits (internal & external) and ensure SOX / IFRS compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Lead and develop a team, ensuring proper training, performance, and accountability.
