About Us

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior SAP Technical Leader to join our team. As the IT Security SME SAP, you will be responsible for overseeing all technical workstreams, including Basis / Infrastructure, Reporting & Analytics, Development & Integration, Data Conversions and liaising between process & technical teams for architecture, design, development and testing.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide overall technical coaching and planning, working with PMO, business process leads and Walmart Tech Leadership
• Ensure the completion of all technical project deliverables
• Manage technical status, tracking and management, resource planning
• Manage technical related escalations and reports into project leadership
• SAP landscape planning and support architecture discussions
• Review and resolve technical design and integration issues
• Confirm complex, cross-functional technical designs
• Lead in overall prioritization of technical requirements for sub-team
• Participate in solution design workshops, infrastructure discussions, technology design and architecture workshops
• Manage and drive technical related issues, risks, and resolutions
• Manage the technical team on key activities
• Support efforts to promote technical solution buy-in from all stakeholders
• Oversee technical mock cutovers, integration testing, performance testing, dress rehearsal, final cutover, go-live and hyper care support activities
• Create and maintain detailed sub-team plan with counterparts for sub-team
• Act as a 'change agent' for assigned technical area by actively endorsing and supporting the forthcoming changes

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Business Administration or other related field

At least 8 years of experience managing or leading SAP Projects and E2E implementations

Bilingual Spanish / English is a must. B2+ level or higher

SAP HANA Certification in finance modules (desirable)
