Overview

(R) Project Manager 3 (Design / Engineering) role at Sanmina. The Project Manager 3 (Design / Engineering) manages the development and implementation process of a company’s products and services. Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgrading existing products. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget / spending. Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project i.e. product on schedule and within budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Lifecycle Management : Oversees all phases of NPI, from kickoff to successful production launch, ensuring the product is on time and on quality.
• Cross-Functional Leadership : Coordinates with internal teams (engineering, production, sales, quality, supply chain) and external EMS partners to ensure alignment and progress.
• Risk & Issue Management : Identifies potential roadblocks, conducts risk assessments, and develops contingency plans to mitigate delays and unnecessary expenses.
• Stakeholder Communication : Serves as a key point of contact, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and financials to internal stakeholders and EMS partners.
