Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Salesforce Solution Architect.

What You’ll Do

Job Summary

This position is responsible for defining and communicating a shared architectural vision for a simple product that supports current and future business needs. As a Systems Architect, you will understand requirements specific to the Salesforce Platform and build solution architectures that meet those requirements. You will collaborate with Agile teams to consider solutions, validate assumptions, evaluate alternatives, and converge on a solution. You will evaluate the technical capabilities of the Salesforce platform, recommend directions, develop architectures for onboarding and integration with other Eaton applications, and evaluate new Salesforce capabilities for future innovation. The System Architect will work closely with Enterprise and Solution Architects to deliver solutions aligned with broader architecture guardrails.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in planning, defining, developing, and designing product solutions and architecture options
• Enable continuous delivery through proper design guidelines
• Define and communicate system interfaces, data structures, storage, integrations, cybersecurity considerations, test automation, and deployment approaches
• Establish and communicate critical nonfunctional requirements
• Consider economic boundaries in design decisions
• Participate in solution planning, demos, and iterative events
• Plan and develop the architectural runway to support business outcomes
• Provide technical oversight, emphasizing security, quality, and automation
• Negotiate with the business to prioritize nonfunctional work, reducing technical debt over time
