Overview

We are looking for a skilled and knowledgeable Oracle Technical Consultant to join our team. As an Oracle conversion Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for data conversion activities – Knowledge of FBDI templates & columns, Oracle standard ESS jobs & data load process, reconciliation activities. You will collaborate with clients, project managers, functional consultants, and other technical team members to execute the data conversion process across multiple cycles to support Oracle applications.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and functional consultants to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Oracle conversion process.
  • Perform debugging and troubleshooting of Oracle rejection reasons occurred as part of the conversion execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the downstream impact of data conversion.
  • Provide data conversion best practices and expertise to clients and project teams throughout the conversion cycles.
  • Stay updated with the latest Oracle releases, features or enhancements impacting data conversion activities.
  • Document technical specifications, configurations, and procedures related to Oracle conversion process.
  • Assist in the migration and deployment of Oracle reconciliation reports between multiple cloud environments.

Mandatory Skills

  • Candidate MUST have strong SQL and PL-SQL knowledge
  • Oracle cloud experience and worked in at least 2-3 modules from the workstream (Finance or SCM) and understand the E2E business processes
  • Hands-on knowledge of FBDI processes across multiple modules
  • Good knowledge on developing BI Reports
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • Good To Have

  • Experience in Alteryx tool
  • Basic knowledge in Python, REST or SOAP APIs
  • Good process knowledge on some of the Oracle EBS modules
  • Client-facing experience
  • Excellent communication both verbal & written
  • Exposure to HDL templates and data load process

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications in Oracle development are a plus.
  • Proven experience as an Oracle implementation Consultant, with a strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle cloud conversion process (FBDI, ADFDI, HDL) and its corresponding approaches for various data entities across modules.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Applications and their underlying data models.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills to identify and resolve issues.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Experience with full software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
