y detalle de las actividadesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOrganize and operate Third Party Distribution services using Lean principles.Keep up with operating budgets and operating costs.Managing inventory, and cycle counting metrics.Negotiation of freight rates for assigned locations, Inbound, Outbound, Domestic and Export.Identify and pursue cost reduction opportunities, through constant improvement process to achieve the lowest operating cost.Supervise traffic routing and applicable rate classification.Facilitate communication between shipping and customer service departments.Responsible for weekly, monthly, and quarterly carrier performance metrics.Maintain effective communication with the approved customs brokers and provide them with the information and documents necessary for import / export procedures (invoices, series list, packing list, certificate of origin, bill of ladings).

This person will lead the Mexicali / Calexico operation in Third-Party Logistics services as well as give support to the enterprise in Transportation Management.Experiencia y requisitosSkills required : Proficient in Excel, Word, Access, and the Internet.Negotiation experience required.Experience shipping to large customer base.Understanding of IMMEX program QUALIFICATIONSCommunication Skills : Both written and verbal skills are required.5 years experience required.Minimum of 5 years of Customs Industry experience required.Excellent interpersonal skills : you will be dealing with various agencies in the course of your daily work.Demonstrated judgment and decision-making skills.Extremely organized self-starter, flexible, highly independent with the ability to maintain records.Strong computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft 365) .
