Logistics Lead

The Logistics Lead is responsible for ensuring effective management of the customer’s supply chain information using the internal Transportation Management System. This role is typically assigned to a region, mode, business unit or small account to assist in the delegation of operational tasks. This person is accountable for achieving operational efficiency and driving continuous improvement within their area of responsibility as well as within their team. The incumbent in this role will champion and use the enterprise project-based delivery model to identify, manage, and drive projects to conclusion within their team.

• QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, and / or Logistics Minimum 3 years of prior experience working with and troubleshooting information systems Ability to work flexible schedule on occasion, including overtime hours when requested Ability to travel up to 10% (domestic and / or international) Demonstrated high level of proactivity and a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiencePrior experience creating and delivering presentations to senior level management Ability to gather, translate, and act upon voice of customer Ability to direct activities of small work group Ability to act as a subject matter expert Ability to proactively identify patterns in operations and dataAbility to work in a team oriented and fast-paced environment Ability to utilize project management skills to successfully complete various sized projectsDemonstrated commitment to continuous improvement with prior experience in identifying inefficiencies, and implementing process improvementsAbility to motivate and encourage change, able to get positive results in a very large, dispersed organization
