Akamai / CDN Solutions Engineer

About the Role

We’re seeking a highly skilled and curious engineer to join our team and take ownership of a complex Akamai environment while driving innovation across our CDN and cloud infrastructure. This role bridges Akamai delivery and WAF expertise with AWS integration and automation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Troubleshoot and optimize Akamai configurations (WAF, delivery stack, EdgeWorkers, etc.)
• Manage and improve convoluted Akamai environments
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve blockers
• Drive proactive architecture and solutioning
• Work closely with WAF and delivery leads
• Analyze tickets with a problem-solving mindset
• Participate in contract negotiation and future planning
• Collaborate with automation and AWS integration squads
• Prepare for and support a multi-CDN environment
