Senior Specialist - IT Messaging

We are seeking a Senior Specialist - IT Messaging to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a IT Systems Engineer at Marsh, you will provide Global Operations Support for cloud and infrastructure activities, messaging approved PMO and BAU projects, and resolution of incidents via ticketing system.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent operational support, proactively monitoring and maintaining messaging services for a seamless end-user experience.
• Provide after-hours support as needed to assist with initiatives or urgent escalations.
• Provide messaging services, support and troubleshooting for the following.
• Exchange Subscription Edition (SE) / Exchange Server 2019 and Exchange Online (M365)
• Mail Routing / SMTP
• External mail gateways (Proofpoint appliances)
• DMARC Enforcement
• Cloud Fax (Core Fax) / RightFax
• Assist in developing standard operating procedures, policies, and documentation to establish guidelines.
• Participate in and contribute to the resolution of escalations, incidents, and problems.
• Assist in developing methods and procedures to enhance operational processes, optimize technology solutions, and improve service level expectations.
• Lead initiatives and deliver technical solutions aimed at projects and reducing the volume and resolution time of assigned incidents.
• Contribute to detailed project plans across multiple work streams, ensuring standards, processes, and timelines are followed.
