What You Will Do
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to join our team. This role reports to the Cloud Architecture Lead and is part of the Americas Infrastructure Group. You will work closely with IT domain teams (Digital, Applications, Cybersecurity, E‑Commerce, Retail) providing expertise, design, and troubleshooting of the cloud / on‑prem platform with emphasis on AWS and / or Azure (GCP knowledge is a plus). You will collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure cloud computing best practices are followed and applied. The ideal candidate will contribute to end‑to‑end delivery of Enterprise Cloud Projects, with hands‑on work building out Cloud Services related to deployment of IaaS / PaaS applications in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Contribute to the Cloud & Managed Apps team and act as a trusted advisor for the Americas Infrastructure Group on public / private cloud and on‑prem infrastructure.
- Design and implement new capabilities that address gaps and provide an integrated, end‑to‑end, scalable enterprise‑class service.
- Design, implement, manage, and maintain a stable, responsive, highly available public / private cloud / on‑prem infrastructure.
- Provide expertise in DevOps architecture, implementation and run best practices.
- Collaborate with Digital, Enterprise Architecture, Applications, Data, IT Security, and IT Corporate teams to drive long‑term master plans within their environment.
- Develop architecture documents, reference patterns, artifacts, blueprints for solutions, and dataflow diagrams.
- Participate in initiative / project discussions and provide cost estimation for infra, IaaS, and PaaS services.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and ensure alignment with requirements and expectations.
- Proactively identify and address challenges related to cloud deployments, system upgrades, and resource management, ensuring successful outcomes through automation.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of IT integration / Systems; integration is a plus.
- Manage implementation of infrastructure updates (OS, DB, Tools, etc.).
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Undertake disaster recovery procedures when required.

Education & Experience Requirements
BS or equivalent technical degree with 5–7 years of information technology experience with broad understanding of compute, storage, security, and network infrastructure.Experience in data center operations in large enterprises, including private and hybrid public cloud environments.Experience delivering large, complex digital solutions in hosted or hybrid environments.Minimum 5+ years of experience managing infrastructure / applications in AWS and Azure.Understanding of various AWS and Azure services, security, and authentication scenarios.Hands‑on experience with large AWS and Azure deployments.Cloud design for scalability, elasticity, and high availability.Experience with Agile and DevOps organizations delivering Infrastructure as Code in small, iterative releases using tools such as Ansible, GitHub, CloudFormation, Elastic Beanstalk.Ability to work collaboratively with a strong customer orientation (internal and external).Familiarity with ITIL methodology.Excellent people skills at all levels within the organization.Experience with CI / CD environments.Ability to work in a VUCA environment.Knowledge of firewall, networking, forward proxy, reverse proxy, DNS, and CDN.Outstanding customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a demanding, client‑centric environment.Demonstrated team player approach with initiative.What’s In It For You
