Senior Electrical Systems Engineer

CAD Designers play a pivotal role in shaping complex systems by collaborating with engineering teams to develop electrical designs.The ideal candidate will possess experience within the material handling industry and proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent design tools.Responsibilities include creating intricate drawings, designing layouts, and determining dimensions / specifications.CAD designers must also review engineering drawings for adherence to standards and specifications, identify issues, and implement solutions.In addition, they will work closely with engineers, communicate effectively, and provide regular updates on project status.CAD designers are expected to learn existing CAD Designer processes, such as generating and attributing symbols according to standard practices, and accurately copying symbols as needed.They will also participate in one-on-one meetings with supervisors to discuss workload and capacity, and utilize Microsoft Teams and Office Suite for collaboration and communication.Rare travel may be required for projects without existing documentation or unique assignments.
