Product Marketing Manager, Payments, MX Payments

Key job responsibilities

The role of the Product Marketing Manager, Payments will build and execute effective marketing plans to drive awareness, adoption, and ongoing usage of payment methods on Amazon Mexico. The marketing scope includes personalized content development, targeting segment strategy, marketing channel management, determining the appropriate methods and metrics for measuring and monitoring marketing effectiveness, and creative development. This position will work closely with Product Management, UX, Business Development, PR and Engineering teams, as well as partner with stakeholder teams to deliver experiences resonating with customers. This role requires the ability to think big, dive deep with technical teams, and work across partners throughout the larger Payments organization. You must be an influential leader with a passion for customer experiences and bring analytical rigor to the team. It is critical that you work backward from the customer and think through the customer’s needs and pain-points to develop the marketing strategy.

A successful candidate will be a strong, innovative thinker with a proven record of building data-driven product marketing strategies, creating and implementing action plans, and influencing cross-functional leadership. You are highly analytical and detail-oriented, think outside of the box, challenge the status quo, and is comfortable working with ambiguity or competing priorities. You will be at the center of the customer experience and dive deep into the customers’ responses to devise strategies to generate incremental business impact. You are willing to roll up your sleeves to meet organizational goals. You will anticipate and remove bottlenecks, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus constraints.

• 5+ years' experience in product marketing across channels, including, but not limited to, Out of Home and Digital media (paid and organic).
• Demonstrated success in marketing communications, strategic segmentation, marketing management and developing marketing content.
• Ability to manage time and multiple priorities with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to execute high quality deliverables.
• Proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less, and a track record of staying on budget and delivering on time.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.- Experience in product marketing channels, including Amazon Channels and mass media.

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail.
