Overview
Lead Business Consultant - Alternative Investments role at SimCorp, based in Mexico City. This is a client-facing consulting position within our Advanced Delivery Center (ADC) Accounting & Operations team.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Develop and execute implementation plans in a client environment for SimCorp Dimension Operations Modules, including configuration, testing, documentation, and trainings.
- Act as a consultant to clients, effectively handling, coordinating, and escalating issues as needed.
- Participate in all aspects of SimCorp Dimension implementations, including configuration, testing, documenting, and training.
- Document client requirements and map to SimCorp Dimension functions and processes, identifying potential improvements and efficiencies.
- Design and deliver solution sets to meet client requirements by modelling operational workflows around SimCorp Dimension.
- Deliver and customize standard configurations, and design and implement new configurations.
- Assist the client in developing overall test strategy and test plans, support execution of test cases, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
- Provide configuration and end-user training to enable clients to operate SimCorp Dimension effectively.
- Continuously expand knowledge of SimCorp Dimension and client business to ensure optimal configuration and workflow.
What We Value / Qualifications
Degree or master’s in Finance, Economics, Physics, Math, Science, or Engineering.Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the financial sector, preferably in FinTech or IT consulting.High-level understanding of IT-Banking implementation project lifecycle.Understanding of middle- / back-office day-to-day processing workflows.Knowledge of financial instruments and products (e.g., Private Equity, Private Debt, Real Estate, Hedge Funds, Commodities, Cryptocurrencies) and investments lifecycle topics (transaction processing, reconciliation, settlement, SWIFT).Technical IT knowledge (e.g., SQL, XML, XSLT, programming) is an asset.Strong client-facing experience and ability to manage stakeholders.Ability to anticipate client system requirements and assist in tailoring proposals.Motivation, creativity, curiosity with a global perspective; ability to work with minimal supervision.High-quality written and verbal communication skills, especially in virtual collaboration.Fluency in English; other languages (German, French, Spanish, Italian, Nordics) are an asset.Benefits
