Accounting Operations Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Accounting Operations Lead to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished professional to drive accounting operations and ensure financial reporting accuracy.

Job Description :

The Accounting Operations Lead will be responsible for leading accounting teams, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of accounting books closing and reporting information on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Key responsibilities include preparing and monitoring financial statements, adhering to IFRS and local GAAP standards, analyzing accounting data, and producing financial reports. The successful candidate will also coordinate internal and external audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Custodian of accounting and financial compliance for the legal entity.
• Oversight of financial reporting process for Group consolidation.
• Collaboration with COOs and Finance Partners during month-end to resolve material variances affecting financial reporting accuracy.
• Preparation of legal entity-level group reporting deliverables in Saracen and Gather systems.
• Coordination and leadership of statutory, regulatory, and tax audit engagements.
• Reconciliation of key GL accounts and oversight of full reconciliation process together with GL owners.
• Oversight of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensuring compliance of accounting books with IFRS, and local GAAP standards as applicable.
• Coordination of audit process and liaison with external auditors, and other functional areas to ensure clean and on time audit opinions.
• Preparation and support with financial information for transfer pricing study and tax related compliance.
• Preparation of accurate and complete journal entries in compliance with accounting standards and internal policies into the ERP or accounting system.
