Role Overview
As a Cluster Weddings Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and execution of all wedding events across multiple properties within the cluster. You will work closely with clients, wedding planners, and internal teams to ensure exceptional experiences, build strong relationships, and drive repeat and referral business.
What will I be doing?
- Maximise wedding sales revenue opportunities by upselling wedding packages, services, and add‐ons across the cluster properties.
- Ensure the highest standards of wedding event management are consistently delivered, including fostering relationships with new and existing clients to secure repeat bookings.
- Oversee the day‐to‐day operations and coordination of weddings across the cluster, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to the cluster's sales strategy.
- Lead and develop the weddings team members across properties, promoting a culture of excellence in client service, relationship building, sales techniques, and contract management.
- Build strong relationships with clients, guests, and internal teams to fully understand their needs and deliver tailored wedding experiences.
- Accurately manage and administer wedding event bookings, blocks, and contracts across the cluster.
- Ensure all wedding event details are communicated accurately and promptly to Food & Beverage, Operations, and other relevant departments to guarantee seamless execution.
- Meet and greet key wedding contacts and organizers on event days to ensure satisfaction and oversee event setup.
- Conduct property show rounds for prospective wedding clients and agents in accordance with company policies.
- Support Food & Beverage operations and reservations teams with necessary information related to wedding events.
- Attend sales and wedding industry events as required to promote the cluster's wedding offerings.
- Support other properties within the cluster as needed, aligned with business priorities.
- Review cluster wedding business plans, identify gaps, and take proactive steps to maximise wedding bookings and revenue.
- Contribute to the cluster's overall sales strategy and ensure team adherence to achieving set targets.
- Manage invoicing for weddings in accordance with contracts and ensure timely submission to accounts for prompt payment.
- Monitor the competitive wedding market and implement strategies to keep the cluster properties ahead in the local market.
