Job SummaryThe Senior Software Engineer role provides direction to immediate group of which they are a part.

Work direction may include such duties as personnel administration of a general nature; time and record-keeping, work instructions, training of less-experienced employees, input to performance evaluations and coordination of work input / output and scheduling.

This role will also participate in the design, specification, implementation, and maintenance of business applications.

Designs, codes, tests, and documents computer programs of moderate complexity.

May participate with customers in design reviews and technical briefings.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign and implementation of overall web architectureDesign and deployment of the databaseEnsuring the entire stack is built for speed and scalabilityDesign and implement scalable Rest APIIntegrating front-end UI securely with Rest APIDesign applications using cloud-native technologiesDesign and implementation of CI / CD pipelinesSkillsAt least 5 years' experience with : Writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Being up on latest practices is a must, e.g., HTML5, CSS3, and ECMAScript 6 (minimum)Database design and management, including being up on the latest practices and associated versionsServer management and deployment for the relevant environmentFamiliarity with a relevant and globally supported framework (React, NextJS)Ideally, familiarity with CSS preprocessors, bundlers, and associated languages / syntaxes / libraries Sass, Less, and webpackExperience with cloud-native tech stackThorough understanding of user experience and possibly even product strategyExperience with any cloud (AWS- Preferred, Azure, GCP)Experience building CI / CD with cloud-native technologyExperience implementing testing platforms and unit testsProficiency with GitAppreciation for clean and well documented codeExperience with Odoo platform is preferredEqual Employment OpportunityCompuCom is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in all employment practices.
