The role also includes collaborating with UK teams to provide support for the GPG countries of Chile and Argentina.About The RoleAs the Accounting Manager & Controlling for the LAN region, you will hold a pivotal position in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial processes and statements.
Your primary responsibilities comprise overseeing accounting operations and monthly closings for Mexico and the Andes (Ecuador, Colombia, and Peru), as well as reviewing financial statements to ensure precision throughout Mexico, Central America, and the Andes.
The role requires conducting country-specific financial analyses, including variance analysis and preparation of monthly reporting packages, with particular attention to P&L statements for transfer pricing.
You will be responsible for reconciling balance sheets by country and addressing discrepancies efficiently.
Additionally, you will lead and mentor a small team, fostering effective communication and collaboration to achieve financial and accounting goals across Mexico and the Andes.Furthermore, your duties will include : Coordinating the consolidation of profit and loss statements for the region.Overseeing compliance and upholding internal policies and procedures.Managing regional financial reporting within BPC (Mexico and Andes).
Reviewing intercompany transactions and reconciliations.Managing audit processes and statutory accounts across Mexico and the Andes.Supervising budgeting and forecasting activities for the region.Leading both internal and external audit engagements.Reviewing payroll processes to guarantee both accuracy and compliance.Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, policies, and procedures.About YouWe are looking for someone with a bachelor's degree in accounting and exceptional skills in accounting, analysis, and problem-solving.
You must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication to be effective in this role, with English language proficiency at B2 level or above being a further essential requirement.
You will bring a deep understanding of Local GAAP and IFRS, ensuring compliance and adherence to corporate procedures.
You will be familiar with transfer pricing reporting requirements and intercompany transactions.
Your expertise extends to ERP SAP financial and reporting systems, and you will have advanced knowledge of Excel and data analysis tools.Experience in financial reporting, data analytics, and systems implementation are necessary to manage complex financial tasks.
You will bring effective relationship building capability, influencing skills and a change-oriented mindset to manage and implement process improvement initiatives.
You must possess strong organisational skills, and the capacity to handle pressure and frustration.
