MAIN PURPOSE
As the Global Network Operations Leader, you will oversee the comprehensive management and direction of our network operations, ensuring optimal performance and reliability on a global scale. This critical role involves managing a managed service partner to deliver superior network operations and support services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee day‑to‑day network operations, including monitoring, maintenance, and incident response, to ensure high availability and performance.
- Manage the escalation process, ensuring timely resolution of critical network issues and minimizing impact on business operations.
- Supervise routine maintenance activities to prevent unplanned downtime and extend the life of network assets.
- Lead change management processes for network operations, including planning, approval, and implementation of network changes.
- Act as the primary liaison with our managed service partner, ensuring they meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Continuously assess and improve network performance, reliability, and security using data and analytics to drive decision‑making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and technology enhancements, leading initiatives to implement innovative solutions.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential network disruptions and ensure business continuity.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on network performance, issues, and improvements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Orbia infrastructure standards, regulations, and security protocols, and perform regular audits.

Academic Level : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Language(s) and Proficiency : English (fluent) and Spanish.Knowledge / Experience
In‑depth knowledge of network infrastructure technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and network monitoring tools.Proficiency in network protocols, such as TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.Experience with network security best practices and technologies, such as VPNs, IDS / IPS, and network access control.Familiarity with cloud networking and hybrid cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.Experience with deploying, configuring, and testing network equipment.Familiarity with automation tools and scripting (e.g., Ansible, Python).Management & Communication Skills
Experience in managing relationships with MSP, vendors and suppliers.Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders (e.g., operations, finance, senior management).Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.Ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner to senior management and other stakeholders.Minimum of 10 years of experience in network operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing global network operations.Extensive experience working with and managing relationships with managed service partners.Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.ITIL certification is a plus.Familiarity with documentation, training, and support processes necessary for a smooth handover.Physical Requirements
