Position Overview

We are seeking a SAP FM Consultant (Funds Management) to provide corrective, preventive, and evolutionary support across financial and budgetary processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in SAP FM and its integration with FI, MM, CO, and PS modules, ensuring accurate budget control, error resolution, and continuous system improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve tickets related to budget availability, commitment vs. invoice inconsistencies, and budgetary control locks.
• Review and correct stuck documents in FI / MM / CO integrations.
• Analyze and fix errors in Funds Center, Commitment Items, and Functional Areas.
• Monitor budgetary reports (FMAVCR01, FMRP_RFFMEP1AX, etc.).
• Validate MM and FI integrations (POs, reservations, contracts, invoices).
• Clean and reconcile inconsistent FM documents.
• Support periodic closings (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Implement adjustments in FM derivation rules.
• Configure new budget versions or hierarchy modifications.
• Develop and configure Z reports or queries for budgetary control.
• Propose automation initiatives and process improvements.
• Analyze CRs and assess impact across FM and related modules.
• Document functional specifications and configurations.
• Coordinate testing phases (UT, IT, UAT) with key users.
• Manage SAP transport strategy for changes into production.
• Advise key users on budget verification and reporting.
• Provide training on new functionalities.
• Maintain updated user manuals and process documentation.
• Support end-to-end processes MM → FM → FI (PO → goods receipt → invoice → budget consumption).
• Validate open commitments and budget consumption.
• Collaborate with FI, CO, MM, and PS consultants for integrated incident resolution.
