The Quality Engineer is responsible for investigating product failures and conducting root cause analysis. Works closely with Engineering functions such as Reliability, Design, and Manufacturing in a closed-loop, corrective-action process to improve product quality and reliability.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Coordinate strategies with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements across all quality areas, aligning with business needs.
• Conduct Failure Analysis and Root Cause Analysis; implement corrective and preventive actions based on customer complaints.
• Define, design, develop, and implement SPC tools for assembly, manufacturing, and testing processes.
• Establish, implement, and maintain the quality management system.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure smooth transfer of new products, including PPAP processes.
• Plan, organize, and manage activities related to receiving and outgoing quality functions.
• Participate in Design Reviews to ensure compliance with reliability standards and customer requirements.
• Review Engineering Change Requests for customer approval and submission.
• Perform trend analysis weekly and monthly; coordinate corrective actions accordingly.
• Define SPC parameters for manufacturing processes, monitor performance, and implement countermeasures.
• Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and Support Areas to ensure robust processes using PPAP, SPC, and LEAN tools.
