The Quality Engineer is responsible for investigating product failures and conducting root cause analysis. Works closely with Engineering functions such as Reliability, Design, and Manufacturing in a closed-loop, corrective-action process to improve product quality and reliability.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Coordinate strategies with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements across all quality areas, aligning with business needs.
- Conduct Failure Analysis and Root Cause Analysis; implement corrective and preventive actions based on customer complaints.
- Define, design, develop, and implement SPC tools for assembly, manufacturing, and testing processes.
- Establish, implement, and maintain the quality management system.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure smooth transfer of new products, including PPAP processes.
- Plan, organize, and manage activities related to receiving and outgoing quality functions.
- Participate in Design Reviews to ensure compliance with reliability standards and customer requirements.
- Review Engineering Change Requests for customer approval and submission.
- Perform trend analysis weekly and monthly; coordinate corrective actions accordingly.
- Define SPC parameters for manufacturing processes, monitor performance, and implement countermeasures.
- Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and Support Areas to ensure robust processes using PPAP, SPC, and LEAN tools.

Experience working with cross-functional teams to meet quality and business requirements.Proficiency in Failure and Root Cause Analysis; implementing corrective and preventive actions.Ability to define, design, and implement SPC tools.Knowledge of quality management systems.Experience with new product transfer, PPAP, and Design Reviews.Experience in planning and managing quality functions.Experience :
Experience in the Electronics Industry preferred.Experience in the Automotive Industry and / or Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Electronic Engineering, or related field.3+ years of manufacturing experience preferred; 2+ years in quality system maintenance.Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing tools.Proficiency in computer skills, including Statistical Software and MS Excel.#J-18808-Ljbffr
