Position Description

We are seeking a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Engineer to join its Inspection Technology Unit (ITU) within the Inspection Technical Support Division.

The ITU is responsible for the development and deployment of advanced inspection technologies to ensure asset integrity across upstream and downstream operations. The unit focuses on qualifying and implementing innovative solutions—particularly In-Line Inspection (ILI) systems—to improve pipeline safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.

As a Non-Destructive Testing Engineer, your primary role is to lead the evaluation and implementation of NDT technologies, especially ILI systems, to enhance pipeline integrity strategies

Duties and Responsibilities

As a successful candidate you will be required to perform the following :

• Evaluate emerging NDT and ILI technologies
• Provide technical guidance on application, and support their deployment across pipeline operations.
• Oversee the technical performance of ILI tools in the field
• Collaborate with vendors to improve data quality and tool capabilities
• Assist in validating inspection results through field verification and integration with inspection programs.
• Promote the adoption of advanced inspection methodologies to detect and manage critical pipeline anomalies such as corrosion, cracking, and geometry defects, ensuring alignment with safety, compliance, and operational excellence standards.
