Description

The successful applicant will report to the Risk Technology Solutions Engineering Lead (UK based).

The role offers hybrid working with travel to the office expected on a regular basis to work with other India-based team members – this role is not fully remote.

The Role

• Provide hands-on development of web-based applications and services, adhering to software best practices.
• Collaborate closely with the Lead QA and Solutions Engineering Lead, maintaining effective communication.
• Design and implement test cases and scripts to verify data quality, consistency, and reliability.
• Identify and troubleshoot data issues, root causes, and bottlenecks.
• Document test results, defects, and testing activities thoroughly.
• Work with software developers, data engineers, business analysts, and product managers to understand system architecture and requirements.
• Communicate testing strategies, findings, and recommendations effectively with team members.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover data anomalies and edge cases.
• Demonstrate agility, innovative thinking, and challenge established development processes.
• Keen to learn new skills and explore AI tools.
