Job Title : Sr. Intermodal Appointment Representative

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intermodal Appointment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our intermodal transportation services.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, coordinating with internal teams to improve processes, and working closely with customers to assess their needs and provide solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Act as manager-on-duty of personnel when the manager is not present and / or available.
• Train and mentor personnel with a focus on new hire training and development.
• Serve as a floater for the group when necessary to provide extra coverage and / or represent one or more customers to maintain service and exceed department goals.
• Work with internal teams to improve processes, discuss action plans, and achieve organizational / department / team goals and objectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any service issues in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Track loads to ensure customer's freight is safely delivered on time.
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers by assessing their needs and providing a solution.
