The Strategic Financial Planning Leader will lead financial planning and analysis across the company, providing strategic insights and decision support to senior leadership and the Board. This role oversees budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial modeling to evaluate past performance and shape future strategy.
- Managing budgets : Developing and managing comprehensive financial plans to drive business performance and achieve strategic objectives.
- Driving future strategy : Conducting thorough analysis of market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to inform business decisions and identify opportunities for growth.
The role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and works closely with the Chief Executive Officer, senior executives, and Private Equity sponsors. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in investment banking or private equity, with expertise in valuation, modeling and capital allocation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive financial models to evaluate business scenarios and support decision making on strategic initiatives.Partner with business leaders to assess new product launches, pricing strategies, partnerships and investments.Conduct life time value, customer acquisition cost and unit economics analyses to maximize product value creation and shareholder returns.Provide strategic decision support for mergers and acquisitions opportunities, capital raising and other growth initiatives, in collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Development.Serve as the financial liaison to investors and the Board, preparing materials that clearly articulate financial performance, projections and key drivers of value.Experience Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, accounting, economics or related field required.Masters degree in business administration MBA and / or Certified Public Accountant CPA strongly preferred.10+ years of progressive financial planning and analysis or corporate finance experience ideally in multinational companies or PE backed businesses.Must have prior experience in investment banking and / or private equity with strong exposure to financial modeling valuation and capital markets.Proven track record of leading Financial Planning and Analysis in growth oriented complex multi country operations.Strong experience with valuation life time value analysis and scenario modeling.Direct exposure to Board and / or investor relations particularly with private equity investors is strongly preferred.Advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling experience with Financial Planning and Analysis platforms e.g Adaptive Anaplan Hyperion or equivalent.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
