Strategic Regional Talent Partner - Latin America Position Summary
We're conducting a search for a Strategic Regional Talent Partner with 10+ years of progressive HR experience, an essential and proven focus on the Latin American (LATAM) region, and fluency in English. This role works very closely with the C level (VP and Director level), influencing the business and translating business objectives into effective people and talent strategies. Will drive and implement global HR initiatives across key Latin American markets and addressing the unique challenges of the region. This is a strategic and consultancy-focused role, dedicated to high-level partnering.
Key Areas of Accountability & Impact
The Strategic Regional Talent Partner is expected to drive results across three primary domains :
1. Strategic Business Partnership & Consulting
Executive Guidance :
Serve as the primary HR advisor to senior regional executives, translating complex business objectives into actionable people plans Performance Optimization :
Provide expert counsel on maximizing business unit performance Global Integration :
Act as the regional conduit, collaborating with global Centers of Expertise (CoE) to ensure global people initiatives are effectively localized and deployed across LATAM markets.
2. Talent Management & Program Execution
High-Level Program Support :
Directly advise and support senior leaders during critical annual organizational cycles Capability Building :
Partner with business leaders to identify and close critical skill gaps Stakeholder Alignment :
Facilitate the integration of talent programs across the business streams, working with cross-functional HR teams
3. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
Process Enhancement :
Champion a continuous improvement mindset, actively soliciting feedback from the leadership population to refine HR processes and knowledge resources. Service Model Efficiency :
Effectively triage executive requests, leveraging a deep knowledge of the shared services model Knowledge Leadership :
Contribute to the overall organizational knowledge base and foster active knowledge sharing across the global HR community.
Required Experience, Skills, & Qualifications
Experience & Educational Foundation Experience :
10+
years
of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 4 + years
in a senior
HR Business Partnering
or strategic advisory role spanning multiple
LATAM countries
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is highly desired. Context :
Proven ability to operate successfully within a complex, matrixed global organization utilizing an HR shared services delivery model. Critical Competencies Business Acumen :
Possesses robust business knowledge (industry trends, competitors, market position) Executive Influence :
Exceptional ability to build trust, influence senior leaders (VP / Director), . Bilingual Capability :
Fluent English is mandatory.
Proficiency in
Spanish and / or Portuguese is highly desirable. Agility & Judgment :
Demonstrates high levels of
resilience, adaptability, and critical thinking
to navigate ambiguity, manage high-pressure situations, and exercise sound judgment. Technical Familiarity :
Experience with leading HRIS platforms (e.g.,
Workday
) and service management tools (e.g.,
ServiceNow
) is preferred. Other Requirements Flexibility :
Willingness to accommodate business needs across different time zones (LATAM and North America).
