The Fleet Maintenance Support Coordinator role is responsible for efficiently responding to breakdown calls and coordinating safe, cost-effective equipment repairs with drivers and vendors.
This position requires advanced English skills and a strong ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage breakdown calls from U.S.-based drivers and owner-operators regarding vehicle repairs, tires, fuel, and instructions.
- Gather necessary information and resolve concerns or route to appropriate repair facilities.
- Follow up to ensure timely resolution and maintain communication with drivers.
- Update operations personnel on equipment status.
Repair Coordination and Cost Control :
Locate nearby repair facilities to minimize wait time and cost while ensuring quality service.Obtain management approval for repair expenditures exceeding $500.Preferred Qualifications :
Automotive and / or diesel mechanic knowledge.Adaptability to dynamic environments and shifting priorities.Effective communication across various mediums.High attention to detail and accuracy.Relationship-building with personnel, customers, and vendors.Efficient time and resource management.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Commitment to excellent customer service.Privacy Notice :
