The Latin America region has a vision to transform lives in dynamic communities.
You'll serve in your area of focus while being part of localized summer ministry experiences.
You'll also be poured into by a team of missionaries as you learn more about your gifts and passions.
Our hope for this experience is that you will grow in your relationship with God, expand your skill set, be more prepared to disciple people from other cultures, and perhaps discern a long-term call to missions and ministry.
Use your skills in videography, photography, and / or social media to pour into ministry projects in discipleship, community impact, or business as missions.
During your time with Embark you will serve with One Mission Society, build relationships with youth and young adults, receive mentorship from experienced missionaries, work alongside a team of other like-minded OMS interns, expand and hone your skill set, and grow in your ministry approach to evangelism, discipleship, and communicating your testimony.
Responsibilities :
Take pictures of ministry work, missionaries, national workers, and teams.
Possibly interview individuals engaged in ministry.
Facilitate the writing of newsletters and prayer requests for supporters.
Skills :
Some expertise in photo / video capturing and editing
Intermediate Spanish preferred, but not required
English grammar understanding preferred
High school diploma or GED required
Adaptability
Good relational skills
Desire to see Gospel transformation
Important Details :
For time spent in Mexico City, you will live at the seminary guesthouse or a missionary home.
When traveling with mi ssionaries and visiting ministry teams, the whole group will stay in hotels or guest homes.
You will be interning for a period of at least eight weeks, anytime between January 1 - May 31, or August 1 - December 31.
Exact dates will be worked out between you and the field.
This is a volunteer internship that requires raising financial support through ministry partners.
