WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
This full-time hybrid role, based in our Mexico City office, is a key part of Bain's Technology, Media, & Telecommunications Centers of Expertise (TMT CoE) within the
Bain Capability Network
, collaborating with global leadership, client-facing teams, and end clients to develop and deliver proprietary TMT and solutions.
The CoE serves leading companies across domains such as Wireline and Wireless Telecommunication, Cable and Satellite, Media, Software, Semiconductors, Hardware, Technology, CSPs, and IT Services.
The team is primarily focused on collaborating with practice / case teams on the development and deployment of industry specific analytical products to answer strategic questions of Bain's TMT clients
WHERE YOU'LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As an Analyst within the TMT CoE, you will work in teams comprising a mix of Projects Leads, Associates, and Analysts, on projects ranging from 3 weeks to 6 months.
Delivery models on projects vary from working as part of a broader global Bain case team, collaborating with practice stakeholders, working independently with a Bain Associate Partner / Partner, or working directly with end clients.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Contribute as a member of the team to deliver projects within the Technology, Media, & Telecommunications domain
Take responsibility for the assigned work streams to deliver high quality output
Analyze data to draw meaningful insights and build subject matter expertise in TMT domain
Ensure timely, high quality, error-free analysis by performing sound data and reality checks
Leverage relevant analytical tools – such as Excel, Alteryx and Tableau – to deliver insightful analysis
Work along with other Analysts, Associates, and Project Leads in the team, and own and deliver the allocated workstream in a timely and well-organized manner
Work well in a team setting, understand the key aspects of delivery and deliver them with direction from senior team members
Own up to professional development by consistently seeking actionable feedback
ABOUT YOU
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field with a strong academic performance and 0-2 years of relevant experience in a global multinational corporation, with exposure to management consulting and business analytics (preferably within the Technology, Media, or Telecommunications industries)
Proficient in written and spoken English at C1–C2 level, with strong stakeholder communication skills
Strong communications skills, should be able to drive discussions / presentations with senior stakeholders
Excellent analytical and team player skills; ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
Fast and eager learner – ready to ramp up on newer problems and topics
Thinks like an owner – pushes boundaries of their own work
Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
Should be comfortable dealing with uncertainty and changing business requirements within individual and team roles
Learning agility to internalize new ways of working, pick new analytical tools, and adapt to ever changing project expectations and client needs
Preferred :
Knowledge of key data sources and metrics pertaining to the Technology, Media, or Telecommunications industry, with experience in one or more sub-sectors within Technology / Media / Telecommunications
