Reporting to the Materials Planning Manager, the Material Planning role is responsible for supporting materials and production functions, ensuring the supply of materials to meet the Production plan through the release of Work Orders.

Responsibilities

• Support in inventory control, supply chain management, material planning, and scheduling.
• Production control.
• Prepare general reports and analysis activities for production of production cards.
• Support in supply chain transfer and risk management for NPI.
• Manage CTB and shortage reports.
• Design, manage, and control data analysis tools.
• Interpret complex data, identify trends, and propose evidence-based solutions.
• Implement action plans with precision, timely follow-up, and results-oriented approach.
• Negotiate with clients and suppliers to resolve critical situations and align expectations and priorities.
• Interact with clients and suppliers to reach agreements that benefit operations and maintain relationships.
• Represent in cross-functional team (CFT) meetings.
• Support in client meetings.
• Analyze excess and obsolete inventory; perform inventory projection and demand loading.
• Forecast analysis and care / maintenance of planning metrics.
