Role : Data Analyst II.
You will produce reports from data sets across Microsoft's consumer business to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations such as Europe's Digital Services Act (DSA) and the UK's Online Safety Act (OSA).
You will collaborate with policy makers, legal experts, product managers and external partners to align DigiTS solutions with Microsoft values and customer needs.Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization to achieve more.

ResponsibilitiesApply in-depth knowledge of the business to anticipate questions and develop data frames and analytical solutions to meet legal and transparency requirements related to content moderation.Guide the production of legal, compliance and regulatory reports.
Validate data against regulatory requirements and governance rules; ensure alignment with controls.
Identify and address impacts of updated regulations.Determine optimal methods for data integration and apply expertise to address business questions; guide teammates on solutions.Share insights through dashboards, reports and internal forums.
Advise on experimental design and innovative methods for sharing insights.Identify and promote efficient, scalable methods for analytics and reporting.
Coach junior engineers as needed and present results to senior stakeholders.Coordinate across teams to drive alignment and adoption of data sources and analysis practices.
Maintain privacy expertise and address impacts of updated guidance on work activities.Promote reusable analytics and reporting methods that are self-service and meaningful for decision-makers.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications : Master's degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 2+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or related area.OR Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 4+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or related area.OR equivalent experience.Fluency in Spanish and English.Other Requirements : Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and / or government security screening requirements, including but not limited to the Microsoft Cloud Background Check (required upon hire / transfer and every two years thereafter).
Preferred Qualifications : 3+ years of experience producing regulatory reports such as the DSA and OSA or equivalent.5+ years of experience with SQL, data modeling, ETL, real-time pipelines and analytics platforms (Azure Data Warehouse, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, etc.).6+ years in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or related field for advanced roles, or 8+ years with a bachelor's degree as alternative.5+ years of experience with Microsoft & Azure tools (PowerBI, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Explorer, Azure Synapse, etc.).5+ years of experience owning large data sets (anomaly / outlier detection, data quality, validation).2+ years of experience developing and maintaining large-scale distributed backend services using cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Experience owning data analysis for both consumer and enterprise customers.
