IC4 – Sr Data Analyst

Reports to : Analytics Chapter Leader, Head Analytics Chapter

Role Objective

The Senior Data Analyst plays a critical role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that shape strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement across the organization. As a senior contributor, you will independently lead analytical initiatives, mentor less experienced analysts, and act as a trusted partner to business and technical teams. This role requires a combination of advanced analytical expertise, business acumen, and the ability to influence decisions through clear, evidence-based recommendations. You will proactively identify opportunities, design robust analytical approaches, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that enhance both performance and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Analytical Leadership : Independently design and execute complex analyses to address high-impact business questions, using advanced statistical methods and experimentation frameworks.
• Collaboration : Partner with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to gather, clarify, and challenge requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Impact Evaluation : Define, design, and evaluate business impact experiments under a causal inference framework, including block randomized, pair randomized, and factorial designs, A / B testing, treatment-control and interventionist evaluations, observational studies, and the determination and isolation of measurable and non-measurable confounders, as well as quasi-experiments.
• Problem Investigation : Identify analytical opportunities and recommend solutions that drive operational improvements and inform strategic decisions.
• Requirements Definition : Translate business objectives into detailed analytical requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment across functions.
• Agile Documentation : Oversee the documentation of tasks under agile methodologies, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
• Solution Delivery : Collaborate with data engineering, governance, and self-service teams to implement solutions that meet enterprise standards and support scalable analytics.
• Insight Communication : Deliver compelling narratives that translate complex data into actionable insights, influencing senior stakeholders and driving decision-making.
• Continuous Learning : Actively mentor junior analysts and stay current on new tools, techniques, and industry best practices to strengthen team capabilities.
