About the Role

At Zego, a Global Payments company, we’re seeking a Senior Software Quality Analyst to champion quality across our flagship Resident Experience platform—an application used by thousands daily. You’ll join an agile, collaborative team where your insights directly shape the user experience and your work drives real‑world impact.
Quality at Zego isn’t a checkbox—it’s part of our product DNA. In this role, you’ll :
- Lead end‑to‑end testing across mobile and web platforms, ensuring every release is stable, performant, and user‑ready.
- Author, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases and test documentation that capture real user scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing using both manual and automated strategies.
- Execute automated test suites (created by SDETs) through Jenkins or equivalent CI / CD pipelines.
- Investigate and debug issues to identify root causes and collaborate with developers to drive timely resolutions.
- Use SQL queries to validate data integrity, verify back‑end processes, and support defect investigations.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure quality is built in from the start.
- Drive continuous improvement by proposing process enhancements, improving test coverage, and advocating for smarter testing strategies.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to our internal quality community of practice.
- Monthly Gross Salary : 45,000 mxn.
- Law and above compensation package.
- 100% remote position.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing, ideally in agile development environments.Strong experience testing both mobile and web applications, including responsive design validation.Experience executing automated test suites from Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar CI / CD tools.Hands‑on SQL skills for validating data and performing back‑end checks.Solid debugging and troubleshooting ability, with a passion for discovering the root cause of failures.Familiarity with API testing (REST, JSON, Postman) and understanding of front‑end and back‑end interactions.Version control experience (Git, GitHub, or equivalent).Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.Bonus points for experience in agile and CI / CD environments.Bonus points for familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, Cypress, or Appium).Bonus points for exposure to cloud‑based microservices and distributed systems.What You Bring
