The Product Group PGS is part of the Shift Systems Business Unit, within the Engine & Transmission Systems Business Division of the Powertrain and Chassis Division.Your QualificationsEducational : Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)Advanced English – TOEFL min. score of ITP 585 / iBT 84, CEFR level B2-C1 (or equivalent)Technical : Automotive knowledge or industrial background (3-5 years, required)Knowledge of the Product Development ProcessApplicable engineering and physics knowledgeKnowledge of mechanical design and Design for Manufacturing (DFM)Understanding of Transmission subsystems, Powertrain systems and vehicle architectures (ICE and xEV)Background in FMEA and FEA / CFD (desired)CAD software proficiency (PTC Creo preferred)Your Key ResponsibilitiesGeneration of designs and models of PGS systems and components, as well as their drawingsPDM (PTC Windchill) to release engineering dataProduct function, durability and packaging calculationsStructural calculations of the product designHandling of ADVP&RSupport quotation and industrialization (series production) effortsAs a global company with employees around the world, it is important to us that we treat each other with respect and value all ideas and perspectives.
